The Lamu Cultural Festival is an annual celebration of Swahili heritage and traditions,
held in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Lamu. The event features lively dhow races, traditional dances,
poetry, donkey races, and Swahili cuisine — all set against the backdrop of the stunning Indian Ocean.

Event Schedule
Day 1: Opening Ceremony
Traditional performances, Swahili poetry recitals, and the official opening parade through the narrow Lamu streets.
Day 2: Cultural Showcases

Day 3: Closing Festival
Final dhow race, music and dance performances, and a spectacular closing ceremony by the seafront.

Day 3: Maasai Mara → Nairobi
Early morning game drive, breakfast at the lodge, and return trip to Nairobi.
