Overview

This immersive journey combines the thrill of Tanzania’s premier safari parks with the serene relaxation of Zanzibar’s tropical beaches. From the elephant-rich plains of Tarangire and the wildlife-filled Ngorongoro Crater to the vast Serengeti, the adventure concludes on the spice island of Zanzibar, where turquoise waters and white sands await. ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival – Tarangire National Park

Pick up from the airport or hotel in Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National Park. Afternoon game drive in a landscape dotted with baobabs and home to large elephant herds, lions, leopards, and migratory herds. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the world’s largest intact caldera for a thrilling game drive among lions, rhinos, elephants, hippos, and flamingos. Overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp.

Day 3–4: Serengeti National Park

Transfer to the Serengeti for two days of extensive game drives across endless plains, rocky kopjes, and seasonal migration routes. Spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, alongside large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy bush picnics and golden sunsets before overnight stays at Acacia Central Camp.

Day 5: Serengeti – Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha for a domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your driver for transfer to your resort. Dinner and overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort.

Day 6–7: Zanzibar Beach Stay

Two full days to relax or explore. Options include spice tours, Stone Town explorations, snorkeling, diving, or dolphin watching. Or simply unwind by the turquoise Indian Ocean with palm-fringed beaches. Overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward flight.
