Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi after breakfast, driving through the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives across the savannah, spotting lions, elephants, cheetahs, and more. Witness sunrise over the plains and enjoy an African sunset before returning to camp.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Kisumu
En-route game drive as you depart Mara. Continue to Kisumu for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 4: Kisumu City Exploration
Enjoy a day in Kisumu with cultural experiences, lakeside scenery, and city excursions.
Day 5: Kisumu – Kampala (Uganda)
Drive to the Busia border, clear immigration, and continue to Kampala. Check in at your city hotel and explore Uganda’s capital by day or night.
Day 6: Kampala – Bwindi by Flight
Morning or afternoon flight to Bwindi. Transfer from the airstrip to your lodge, with spectacular aerial views of Uganda’s forests, valleys, and wetlands. Overnight in Bwindi.
Day 7: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Begin early with a briefing before trekking into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of endangered mountain gorillas. The trek may take 2–6 hours, offering a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter. Afternoon village walk to engage with local communities.
Day 8: Bwindi – Entebbe – Zanzibar
Catch a return flight from Bwindi to Entebbe, then connect to Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight in Stone Town.
Day 9: Stone Town Tour – Beach Transfer
Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stone Town, rich with Swahili, Persian, Indian, and Arab influences. Later transfer to your beach resort for overnight.
Day 10–11: Zanzibar Beach Escape
Relax on the pristine beaches of Zanzibar, enjoy spice tours, watersports, or simply unwind at leisure. Full board stay by the ocean.
Day 12: Departure
Breakfast, followed by transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward international flight.
